the Lion King in 3D
I finally went to watch the Lion King in 3D last week and I have a few thoughts about it:
1) I <3 3D but didn’t love this one. They couldn’t decide between pop-up book style/full 3D & u can tell the movie was not directed for 3D.
2) Nostalgia hit me more than I expected & I had to stop myself from singing at the top of my lungs. Probably the best music in any Disney!
3) Doubt some things in the script would be allowed today. ex Mustafa”What am I going to do with him?” Zazu”He’d make a very handsome throw rug.” M”Zazu!” Z”And just think, whenever he gets dirty you could take him out and beat him.”
4) Has anyone else noticed a resemblence between Mustafa in the clouds and God in Monty Python and the Holy Grail?
5) What do you think, separated at birth?
