The thing that surprised me was that the NDP’s share of the vote didn’t increase all that much among younger voters. And that the Greens would have almost as many seats as the Conservatives, despite not having performed any economic analysis to show that their platform wouldn’t put the entire country in the poorhouse. Either way, still no majority. Get ready for another election in 2 years!
I don’t know if I’d say NDP didn’t increase all that much, 30% is far from insignificant (to be fair, it’s about the same as the Bloc).
I also doubt that most people who said they’d vote Green would be doing so based on their economic platform.
